Mary Madere Bobbitt

Mary Louise Bobbitt passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at the age of 79. Beloved wife of the late Olen Hanwell Bobbitt. Daughter of the late Marie Tilda Matheren Madere and Antoine Cyril Madere. Sister of Peter Madere and the late Rosalie Plaisance, Hazel Borne, Rosemary Madere and Joseph Madere. Mary is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as other relatives and friends. She was an active parishioner of St. Cletus Catholic Church in Gretna for many years. She was born in Belle Chasse, Louisiana and resided in Gretna, Louisiana. She will be missed by many. Due to the COVID Pandemic, all attendees must wear their face mask for the duration of the visitation and Mass. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at St. Cletus Catholic Church, 3600 Claire Avenue, Gretna, LA on Friday, January 29, 2021 from 10:30AM until 11:30AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Cletus Catholic Church on Friday at 11:30AM. Interment will be in Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale, Louisiana. MOTHE FUNERAL HOME is assisting the family.
