Marvin “Moe” Milton Thorning of Terrytown, LA passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the age of 89. Devoted and loving husband of the late Lois Maxine Charbonnet Thorning. Father of Nancy Louise Thorning, Peggy Sue Thorning and Catherine Thorning Belsome. Father-in-law of John Paul Belsome. Son of the late Dewey Hobson Thorning and Uhler Sadler Thorning. Brother of the late Dewey Hobson Thorning and Francis Ward Thorning. Grandfather of Tammy Belsome Sacco (Husband Gregg Sacco) and Johnny Moe Belsome (Wife Tara Burgo Belsome. Great Grandfather of Chase Perkins (Wife Jamie Breeland Perkins), Gregory Sacco, Cassie Perkins, Victoria Sacco, Alexus Belsome, Alisa Belsome, Abby Belsome, Johnny Moe Belsome, Jr., Jaxon Belsome and Seana Lurding. Great Great Grandfather of Braylon Romero, Presley Lurding and Skylee Smith. Family friend of Mary Smith and Elizabeth Kelly. Also survived by many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
