Marion Hebert Muth passed away peacefully on January 25, 2018 at the age of 88 in Marrero, LA. She married the love of her life, Charles “Charlie” Muth, and is now reunited with him in heaven. Marion leaves to grieve, her daughters, Noelie Scholl (Michael), and Glenda Dantin (Chris); her grandchildren, Carrie Gleason (Hulette, Jr.), Michael Scholl, Jr. (Nicolle), Charles Scholl and Jonathan Dantin; her great grandchildren, Stephen Scholl, Kyler Van Camp, Emma Scholl and Paul Gleason; her lifelong friend, Earnestine D. Bird; and a host of nieces and nephews. Marion was born in Paincourtville, LA on, June 14, 1929, to the late Jean Hebert and Noelie Blanchard, she was the youngest of their ten children and is preceded in death by all of her siblings, Doris Hebert, Allie Hohensee (Herman), Carroll Hebert, Jr. (Blue), Harold Hebert (Ellen),Ruby Blanchard (Gipson), Mary Martin (Pepper), Irma Sotile (Charley), Florence Dupre (Henry), and Thomas Hebert.
Marion was employed by the Archdiocese of New Orleans for 20 years at Immaculate Conception School and Jefferson Parish for 34 years at the Marrero Library, Gretna Library and at the Westbank Regional Library. A special thank you to the employees of Wynhoven Health Care Center for the loving care they gave to their M&M; and to the Angels Gina, Leslie and Sheila of Notre Dame Hospice.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Monday, February 5, 2018 from 10 AM to 1:30 PM.
