Marilyn Lasserre Comeaux entered into rest on March 17, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Edward C. Comeaux. Mother of Bruce M. Comeaux (Donna), Mark E. Comeaux (Barbara), Jeanne E. Comeaux, and Wade M. Comeaux (Danielle). Grandmother of Reese M. Comeaux (Mandy), Lucas A. Comeaux (Jenny), Mary Beth Rodriguez, Janelle C. Bernier (Justin), Lindsey Comeaux, Dara S. Cutrer, Caitlin S. Guillory (Dustin), Logan Schiro (fiancé Beaux), Emily S. Lachin (Michael), Courtney C. Bono (Brad), Taylor R. Comeaux, and the late Matthew Comeaux and Hunter Comeaux. Great-grandmother of 24. Daughter of the late Ida Mae Falgoust Lasserre and Louis Maurice Lasserre, Sr. Sister of L. Maurice Lasserre, Jr. (Florence). Also survived by four nieces and one nephew. Age 87 years, a native of Algiers, and a resident of Tylertown, MS, and recent resident of Madisonville, LA. Marilyn was a graduate of Behrman High School and worked for State Farm Insurance in Gretna prior to retirement. She was a faithful parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church in Algiers, St. Paul Catholic Church in Tylertown, MS, and an advocate for St. Fabian Catholic Church in Hattiesburg, MS. Marilyn was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, her Algiers card club, and dominos ladies in Mississippi. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all.
