Marie Lacour Haley

Marie LaCour Haley, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022 at the age of 97. She was born on May 6, 1924 in Morganza, LA and was a long-time resident of Luling, LA where she had a long career the St. Charles Parish School Board. She is survived by her children Margaret Seghers, Del Krementz , Walt , Alvin, Susan Hall, Henry, Michael and John. Also surviving her are 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and the spouses of her children. Preceding her in death were her husband, Elbert, daughter Flo Ardoin, granddaughters Keri Guillory and Darci Haley, parents Oswald E. and Elizabeth Gilmer LaCour, siblings Edgar LaCour, Anne Comeaux, Gilmer LaCour, William LaCour, Elizabeth Blanchard and Robert LaCour. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Holy Family Catholic Church located at 155 Holy Family Lane, Luling LA at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 am to 11:00 am along with a praying of the rosary beginning at 10:15 am. Interment to follow at the St. Charles Cemetery and Mausoleum on Paul Maillard Road in Luling. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in memory of Marie L.
