Marie Gautreaux Guise

Marie Therese Gautreaux Guise left her earthly home on January 15, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Lionel Gerald Guise, Jr. for 56 years. Beloved mother of Denise Ann Guise, Stephanie Ann Guise Guillot (Lon, Sr.), Michelle Ann Guise Thurman, Jennifer Ann Guise Curran (William). Loving grandmother to Lon Guillot, Jr. (Lacey), Laine Guillot, Benjamin and Emma Curran. Daughter of the late Johnny A. Gautreaux, Sr. and Lena Plaisance Gautreaux. Daughter-in-law of the late Lionel Sr. and Stella Guise. Sister of Charles Gautreaux (Maggie), Johnny Gautreaux, Jr. (Margie) and the late Joyce Trepagnier, and Raymond Gautreaux (Cynthia). Sister-in-law of Alice Majorie and the late Frank Majorie. Also survived by a host of her beloved nieces and nephews, also many dear friends. The family would like to thank Heart of Hospice staff. Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at 11AM on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, 146 4th St., in Westwego. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in Westwego. Visitation will begin Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 6PM and again at 8AM on Thursday, January 21, 2021.
