Mallitta Dalton Davis (January 23, 1939) died at home on Saturday, November 20, 2021. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
Mallitta is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Dalton Sr. and Leona Dalton; her brother, Clarence Dalton Jr. (Jennie). Happily married for 61 years, she is survived by her husband, Gerald “Sparky” Davis, her daughter, Stephanie Davis Loupe (Craig) and her son Stephen Davis. She was loved and adored by her four grandchildren Sydney Loupe Gandy (Justin), Payton Loupe (Caitlyn), and Collin and Dalton Loupe. Mallitta is also survived by her brother, John Dalton Sr. (Maryann).
She was a parishioner of Infant Jesus of Prague Church and St. Rosalie Catholic Church. Mallitta retired from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s office after 27 years of service. She was a graduate of Holy Name of Mary Catholic School in Algiers. She will be remembered as a cherished, loyal friend to so many.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral Mass at Infant Jesus of Prague Church on Tuesday, November 30th, 2021, at 12pm. Visitation will begin at 10am. Interment will follow the service in St. Bartholomew Cemetery.
