Mae Cox

Mae Cox, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, March 6, 2020 at the age of 73. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sherman LeDoux and Elsie Ryder LeDoux; and her brother, Archie Duplechain. She is the beloved wife of 49 years of Billy W. Cox. She is the loving mother of Craig Cooley, and Cindy Thompson. She is the loving step- mother of Russell Cox, Rhonda Laderer and her husband, Bill. She is the loving grandmother of Erica Moreau, Brandon Drummond and his wife, Annie. She is the loving great- grandmother of Juliana Sterling, Julian Sterling, Julia Paris Sterling, and Meena Drummond. She is the cherished sister-in-law of Charlotte Duplechain. Mae is also survived by other family and many friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Monday, March 9, 2020 beginning at 4:00 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 6:00 PM all at First Baptist Church Westwego, 703 Avenue B., Westwego, LA. Interment will take place 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at Ritchie Cemetery, 178 S. Perkins Ferry Road, Moss Bluff, LA. Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA. in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to First Baptist Church, Westwego, LA.
