Lucille E. Price

Lucille E. Price, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at the age of 91. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James J. Price; her daughter, Patricia Lasserre; her grandson, Kenneth Price; her great grandson, Nicholas McDonald; her parents, Lillie Mae Jones Fielder and Spencer Neal Fielder; 8 of her siblings. She is the loving mother of Sheila Reeves, Jewel Price, James E. Price, Walter D. Price (Pat), Mary Marsala (Frank), Herbert Price, Rhoda Mims (Robert), and Barbara Savant (Brian). She is the devoted grandmother of 22 grandchildren and 58 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Dot Rhoden and Jackie Troupe; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. An avid Atlanta Braves fan, Lucille enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking, and canning her vegetables grown in her own garden. In addition, Lucille raised her own chickens, pigs and roosters. She also was known for giving the very best homemade Christmas gifts to her family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Friday, August 17, 2018 from 8:00 AM until 12:00 Noon at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA. Afterwards, everyone is invited to join the family for a Graveside Service at 2:30 PM at Our Lady of Good Harbor, Buras, LA.
