Luciano Joseph "L. J." Bates

Luciano Joseph “L. J.” Bates passed away peacefully on December 8, 2018 at the age of 25. Beloved son of Stana Soto Bates and William Joseph Bates III. Brother of Jared Bates, Cole Bates (Mandy), Ember Soto and Stormy Soto. Grandson of William Joseph Bates Jr. (Diane) and Betty Ketchum (the late Marty), Don Soto and Stana Soto. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and other relatives. Special thanks to Orfelinda “Orfy” Richard, Jessica McReynolds (Robert), Kyle Richard (Alex), extended family and friends.

L. J. attended Carson High School in Carson City, NV and later attended Crescent City Gaming School and Delgado College in New Orleans. He was working at Boucherie Restaurant in New Orleans.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Sunday, December 16, 2018 from 2pm to 4pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the family.
