Louis "Buddy" Bourgeois

Louis “Buddy” Bourgeois of Bridge City, LA, age 58, passed away on Tuesday, September 13th, 2022. He was born on August 24, 1964 in Marrero, Louisiana to the late Alden Sr. and Emelie Bourgeois.
Louis is survived by his brothers, Alden Jr. (Annette) and David (Susan) and his nieces and nephews, Brooke (Matt), Matthew, Brock (Breanna), Rachael, and Kayla (Cody), his Aunt, Shirley Prestenbach, and other aunts, uncles, and cousins. Louis was an avid plant lover and a licensed horticulturist. His hobbies included photography, computer programming and being a lover of all animals. Louis turned his love of plants and gardening into his successful business, Bonjour Nursery, and was very active in the local farmers markets.
Visitation & Mass will be held on Monday September 19, 2022. Visitation will be at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero from 8:30 a.m. until Mass at 1:30 p.m. Burial will immediately follow at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
