Lori Robert Guidry Chancey

Lori Robert Guidry Chancey, joined the Host of Angels peacefully on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at the age of 62. She was preceded in death by her beloved first husband, Bruce Lee Guidry, and her second beloved husband, William F. Chancey, Sr.; and her parents, Daniel Richard Robert and Lily Mae Miller Robert. She is the loving mother of Chantelle Guidry (Derek Wedgeworth), Matthew Guidry, and Dustin Guidry. She is the devoted grandmother of Adalee Wedgeworth. She is the loving sister of Danna Cain (Conrad), and Dwayne Robert (Karen). She is also survived by the children and grandchildren that she cherished with her husband, William Chancey; her “Mama Cates”; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. An avid pet lover, Lori will be forever remembered as the “neighborhood mom”, as she was known to take care of all the many kids in the neighborhood. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Private family services will be held at a later date. Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA. in charge of arrangements.
