Loreto Francis Digregorio, Jr.

Loreto Francis DiGregorio, Jr., age 50, born on August 26th, 1970, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, January 31st, 2021.Loreto is survived by his mother, Yvonne Turnage Toups, stepfather (Michael Toups), father, Loreto F. DiGregorio, Sr., stepmother (Gayle DiGregorio), sister, Tiffany DiGregorio Quigley (Dale Quigley), and niece/godchild Angelina Quigley whom he adored with all of his heart. He also leaves behind stepbrother Dwayne Toups (Natalie Toups), and stepsister Andrea Martin. He is also survived by a host of uncles and aunts including his godfather Alfredo DiGregorio (Victoria DiGregorio), godmother Gisele Kinler and many other cousins, relatives, and friends that dearly loved him. Re’, as he was commonly called, loved God above all things on this earth. He suffered from Buerger’s Disease for the last 15 years and became limited to many of the things he was used to doing. One such limitation was his trade as an electrician, which he was very proud of. He took up photography, which also became limited, but was very good at. He was also extremely computer savy. He had a personality that no other could match and a heart of gold. His quick wit and remarkable sense of humor could set anyone off, but brought cackling and belly laughing to his mom and sister till they couldn’t breathe like no one else could. Loved by many, he loved back just as hard. He will undoubtedly be missed by all who knew him. Due to the COVID Pandemic, attendees are limited to 100 persons. Each attendee must wear their face mask for the duration of the visitation and funeral service. Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, Louisiana on Sunday, February 14, 2021 from 10AM until 12PM. A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday at 12PM. Interment will be privately held at a later date. Family and friends may offer condolences at mothefunerals.com.
