Lois Durel Kuchler

Lois Durel Kuchler passed away peacefully on December 23, 2020 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late John Nicholas Kuchler, Jr. Sister of Marie Durel Gattuso and the late Bertel Nicholas Verdigets. Daughter of the late George Peter Durel and Anna Governale Durel. Aunt of Roy J.D. Gattuso (Ioana), Maria A. Gattuso, Bert Verdigets, Paul Verdigets, Felix Verdigets, George Verdigets and the late Philip M. Gattuso, D.D.S., M.S. (the late Valerie). Great-aunt of Molly Gattuso Massey, Roy J. Gattuso, II (Jenna), Philip M. Gattuso, Jr., Joseph E. Gattuso and Kennedy Gattuso Massey. Great-great-aunt of Reece H. Gattuso. Also survived by many loving relatives and friends.

Lois was a native of New Orleans, LA and resided in Gretna, LA for many years. She retired from New Orleans Public Service, Inc. (N.O.P.S.I.) and devoted herself to the Fr. Francis Xavier Seelos Center.

Graveside services will be held at Lakelawn Mausoleum in New Orleans on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 11am.
