Lloyd E Fortmayer Jr passed away peacefully on Friday, February 4, 2022, at the age of 71. Lloyd was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on August 3, 1950. Lloyd is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Fredericka “Rickie” Bealer Fortmayer, and his daughters, Rae Lynn Oestriecher (Phil), Suzanne Bourgoyne (John), and Tara Fortmayer. He is also survived by his brother, William “Billy” Fortmayer, and his grandchildren Samantha Oestriecher, Justin Oestriecher, J.C. Bourgoyne, Seth Bourgoyne, and Ashlynn LaNasa. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Albert E. Formayer and Ellen McCormack Fortmayer. Lloyd was a member of the Terrytown Lions Club and Golden Opportunity. He was also a member of and the President of the Theta Golden Age Club. Lloyd E. Fortmayer Jr. will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, La 70058 beginning at 11am. Interment will immediately follow the Funeral Mass in Westlawn Cemetery South. The visitation for Mr. Fortmayer will begin at 9am.
