Lester Leonce Hebert, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 23rd at the age of 85. Beloved Husband for 64 years to the late Carolyn Babin Hebert (deceased). Son of the late Lester L “Frenchy” Hebert, Sr. & Ethel Hodgson Hebert. Loving father of Lester L Hebert, III (Karen), Steven W Hebert (Nanita) and Daniel P Hebert (Pauline). Grandpa to Lester L “Lee” Hebert, IV (Virginia), Ryan M Hebert (Christiana), Allison K Buffington (Drew) and Jacob S “Jake” Hebert (Marissa). Great Grandpa to Gabrielle N “Brie” Hebert, Jack E Hebert Buffington and Elinore R “Ellie” Hebert. Brother of Beverly Hebert Butera (the late John). Lifelong friend of Miriam “Mim” Brunet. Born in and lifelong resident of Algiers, LA. Lester served our country in the U.S. Coast Guard and was a member of American Legion Post 218. He retired from LPL and loved to fish and hunt with the family. Grandpa and Grandma Hebert were a huge part of their grandchildren’s lives and will be terribly missed by the loving family they raised. Family is requesting that face mask be worn throughout the duration of the Visitation and Funeral Services. Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, Louisiana on Monday, June 28, 2021 from 11AM until 1:30PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 1:30PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, Louisiana.
