Leslie Trenine Martin

Leslie Trenine Martin was born February 20, 1972, in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Lillie Martin and Lee Andrew Curley. She was sadly called to heaven on November 13, 2021 around 6:30 am. Leslie was a very strong and caring person throughout her whole life she gave everyone a shoulder to lean on or a helping hand to anyone she knew even if they did not deserve it. She was very selfless in her everyday life and had very strong morals and beliefs she instilled in her children. Leslie had such an amazing aura and spirit that made it almost impossible not to love her immediately. She carried herself with such grace, confidence, and pride that she had the presence of a 6 ft tall NBA player even though she was 5 ft 3. She has left a mark on this world that will not be forgotten, and she will be greatly missed.
The beloved mother of Karliyah Martin, Keshon Zanders, Kym Martin, Alex Martin, and the late Kenya Martin. The beloved stepmother of Karlesia Bivens. The caring and loving sister of LaTanya Colar, Charles Martin, Andrew Martin, Lawrence Martin, Tahonas Curley, Christopher Martin.
The kindest and sweetest grandmother of Kanye Martin, Kam’Ron Martin, and Katelynn Roberts. The most generous and devoted companion of Karl Bivens and August Zanders.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Memorial Service in the Parlor of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 1300 Vallette St., Algiers, LA on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 11 AM. Visitation will be from 10 AM until service time.
