Leonard Owen “Leo” Rodgers Jr., age 44, entered into Eternal Peace on November 17, 2021 at University Medical Center in New Orleans.
He was born September 9, 1977 to Leonard Owen Rodgers Sr. and Patsy Thibodeaux Rodgers. Along with his parents, Leo is also survived by his partner, John “Jake” Appleford Jr.; his sisters, Gabriella Hart (Norman) of Algiers, LA, and Brandy Cheramie of Bridge City, LA; his brother, Wess Rodgers (Brittany) of Marrero, LA; nephews, Joshua Hart (Savannah), Wess Rodgers Jr.; niece, Rebecca Cheramie along with many loving friends. His large circle of friends need mention with special mention of Christina Beasly, Chyna Beasly, Tiffany Thomas, Jack Chance, Mark Appleford, and Drex Fergerson.
He is preceded in death by his niece, Elizabeth Cheramie.
Leo was employed by Bennigan’s and Texas Roadhouse in his earlier years and served as a manager of Red Robin in Lafayette, LA. He had a sharp sense of humor and his life was filled with family, friends, and his cats.
