Larry Steve Fitzgerald, born on December 24, 1950, entered eternal rest on December 16, 2020 at the age of 69. He grew up in Venice but has resided in Carriere, Mississippi for the last 20 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Wendolyn Adolph Fitzgerald and his children Steve (late Brandy), John (Mandy) and Brian S. (Angela) Fitzgerald. He will be forever missed by his grandchildren Bret, Alli, Elway, Brady, Parker, Carter, Andy, and Carson Fitzgerald. Larry was reunited with those who preceded him in death, including his parents John and Myrtle Fitzgerald, his brother John Fitzgerald and his sister Vergie Buras Christensen. He is also survived by his siblings Robert (Walli) Fitzgerald, Ann (Cecil) Carter, Danny (Jeannie) Fitzgerald, Kim (Keith) Smith, and Sandy Fitzgerald. Larry was a hard worker and loved spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. In his spare time, he enjoyed cutting his grass and traveling with his family. He served two tours in Vietnam, worked for Hassie Hunt in Dixon Bay for 20 years. Larry was currently employed by Quality Process Services in Lake Washington. Immediate family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from 9am until Funeral Service time at 11 am. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, masks are required to enter. A private burial will be held at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 2618 Ms-43 in Picayune, Mississippi at 1:30 pm.
