Kermit Joseph Maronge Jr.

Kermit Joseph Maronge, Jr. entered into eternal rest on August 29, 2021 at the age 69. Beloved husband of Darlene Campo Maronge. Father of Nicole Goff (Jeremie) and Kermit Maronge, III (Michele). Grandfather of Jackson Jeansonne, Cohen Goff, McKayla Maronge, Alleyah Maronge, Hailey Maronge, and Peyton Maronge. Son of the late Kermit Maronge, Sr. and Dorothy Long Maronge. Brother of Ralph Maronge. He was a lifelong resident of Algiers Point. Kermit served in the United States Navy for six years. He attended Loyola University of New Orleans and worked for the Orleans Assessor's Office and Orleans Parish Criminal Court. He was a longtime member of the Irish Channel St. Patrick's Day Club. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Memorial Service in the Parlor of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 1300 Vallette St., Algiers, LA on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 3 PM. Interment McDonoghville Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Memorial Visitation will be held from 1 PM until 3 PM.
