Karen Ann Ramagoz Saltalamachia peacefully entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 2, 2022 with her dear family by her side. Beloved wife of Anthony Joseph Saltalamachia, Sr. for 53 years. Loving mother of Anthony Saltalamachia, Jr. (Jane), Stacy Guidry (Jon; the late Jamie Monfra) and Kelly Lyons (Jason). Daughter of the late Donald and Patsy Ramagoz. Daughter-in-law to the late Jake and Theresa Saltalamachia. Sister of Tammy Porter (Greg) and Rhonda Taylor (Richard). Sister-in-law to the late Charlie Jochum and Clyde Saltalamachia (Theresa). Loving Grandmother of Anthony III, Jacob, Stefani, Jillian, Kinsi, Blaine, Bryce, Dawson and Dalton and the late Blakely. Karen was employed as a cosmetologist. She was also employed at Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office and Jefferson Council on Aging. She was Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary American Legion Post 378. She was Founder and President of the Pink Ladies Social Club, Founder and Owner of KAS Productions, a Member and Secretary of Jefferson Parish Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #12, a Member of Night Cruisers Car Club and a Member of Citizens on Patrol in Picayune, Mississippi. Karen enjoyed watching The Young and the Restless, going to the casino, going camping, spending time with her family and friends and being a Nana. Karen was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and was a resident of Marrero, Louisiana. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, Louisiana on Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 10AM until 1:30PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 1:30PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, Louisiana.
