Karen Cavanaugh Ducote peacefully entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at the age of 77. Beloved wife of Richard J. Ducote for 54 years. Daughter of the late Camillus F. “Bud” Cavanaugh and Beverly Cox Cavanaugh. Loving mother of Lisa Ann Ducote and the late Rhonda Ducote and Russell Ducote. Sister of Michael Cavanaugh from Colorado Springs, CO and the late Sheryl C. Steinsnyder. Karen is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Visitation of Our Lady Catholic Church, 3500 Ames Blvd., Marrero, LA on Friday, March 16, 2018 from 10AM until 11:30AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at Visitation of Our Lady Catholic Church on Friday at 11:30AM. Interment will be in Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale, LA. MOTHE FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
