Judy S. Jeanfreau

Judy Sellers Jeanfreau passed away peacefully at her home August 25, 2020 at the age of 78 in the loving care of her husband and children. To know Judy was to love her. Judy was born in Leroy, LA on May 11. She was preceded in death by her parents Sidney sellers and Leola sellers, as well as her brother Jerry Sellers. She cherished her beloved husband Raymond Jeanfreau Jr. of 32 years, her 4 children, son Kevin Reese of Lafayette, LA; son Brent Reese of Broussard, LA; daughter Kim Hycoop (Rick) of Madison, AL; son Blake Reese (Jennifer) of Cypress, TX; six step children: Raymond Jeanfreau III (Lydia) of Belle Chasse, LA; Lucien Jeanfreau (Ann) of Belle Chasse, LA; Marie Chudzik (Greg) of Minnesota; Ted Jeanfreau of Belle Chasse, LA; Meme Hock (Denny) of Belle Chasse, LA; Tim Jeanfreau (Kellie) of Mandeville, LA; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would like to give a special thanks to Maura with Guardian Angel Hospice for being such a wonderful, caring nurse.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Belle Chasse, LA on Friday, August 28, 2020 at 11 AM. Interment will be private. Due to current Covid-19 conditions, masks must be worn to enter church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance.
