Judy Ann Bourgeois

Judy Ann Barras Bourgeois, age 70, returned to her heavenly home on April 1, 2021 after a valiant battle with lung disease. Her devotion to the catholic faith and a firm belief in God supported her in her struggles and ultimately gave her peace.
Judy was born to the late Charles Barras and Ramona Ayo Barras in Marrero, Louisiana on July 8, 1950. Judy was totally pasiionate, as well as devoted to, her birds as a young girl and well into adulthood. She graduated from West Jefferson High School in 1967 and went on to marry Noman Bourgeois of Marrero (1981-2009).
She was blessed with a large family and is survived by her siblings Karen Simoneaux (William), Susan Pitre, Mary Billiot (Roger) and David Barras (Linda), and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her brother Wayne Barras.
Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service in the parlor at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 LAPALCO BLVD., in Marrero on Monday, April 12, 2021 at 3PM. Visitation will begin at 1PM.
