Judith Hardman Verret

Judith Hardman Verret passed away peacefully on November 6, 2021 at the age of 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Richard J. Verret Sr. Mother of Judy Hilburn (the late Joey), Susan Quantz (Steve), David Verret, Howard “Chip” Verret and the late Richard “Ricky” Verret Jr. Grandmother of Bryan Hilburn, Brendan Hilburn (Georgia), Colby Haas (Lester), Frank Lorenzo (Erica), Vanessa Verret, Colleen Verret, Kalin Verret, Nicholas Verret, and Christopher Verret. Sister of the late Vivian “Vicky” Fazio, Dorothy Lee “Dottie” Gueldner, and Bettie Jean Crull. Daughter of the late Jonnie Mae Barber Hardman Seals and John D. Hardman. Also survived by many great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Judith was born on December 3, 1930 in Moorhead, MS and was a lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA. She worked for many years at Vinson Supply Co. in Harvey, LA.

The family would like to express their sincerest gratitude to the staff of Passages Hospice for their care and compassion.

Graveside services will be held at Westlawn Memorial Park in Gretna, LA on Friday, December 3, 2021 at 11am. A Celebration of Life will follow in Lafitte.
