Juanita Lapeyrouse Adams

Juanita Lapeyrouse Adams entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Milton P. Adams. Daughter of the late Isaure Kieff Lapeyrouse and Louis Lapeyrouse. Loving mother to Martha Roane (Mark), Troy Adams (late Linda), and Millicent “Millie” Kiff (Kenny). Devoted grandmother of Robin DuRoss (Ken), Andrea Blissett (Ty), Erik Adams (Kelly), and Brad Kiff. Great-grandmother of Sierra Hatten, Kylie and Madison Adams, Cade, Nolan, and Skylar Blissett, Samantha and Alexander “AJ” DuRoss, and Lyla and Jackson Kiff. Sister of Norma Burkart, Dreus Lapeyrouse, Lilly Jambon, and the late Kathy Gardemal and Louis Lapeyrouse, Jr. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a sincere appreciation to Heart of Hospice and Staff. Also the Willow Woods Skilled Center of Woldenberg Village for their care given to Juanita. Juanita was a lifelong resident of Gretna, LA and parishioner of St. Cletus Catholic Church, and St. Joseph Altar Society and Ladies Club.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Visitation at St. Cletus Catholic Church, Gretna, LA on Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 10:30 AM until Funeral Mass time at 12 Noon. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. In lieu of flowers, please consider a mass said in memory of Juanita. Mothe Funeral Home handled arrangements.
