Joycelyn Ledet Guillot

Joycelyn Ledet Guillot entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at the age of 77. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She is the beloved wife of Richard Guillot, Sr. for the past 58 years. She is the loving mother of Richard Guillot, Jr. (Donna), Judy Buttone (Eric) and Susan Foltmer (Mike). Grandmother of Amy, Stacy, Eric, Jennifer, Andrew, Kelsey and Shane. Great Grandmother of Brenden, Cameron, Caroline, Caden and Sarah. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leonce Ledet, Sr. and Lula Caluda Ledet as well as her siblings, Rose Marie Cox, Lois Ledet, Leonce “Brother” Ledet, Jr. and Mary Ann Roig. Joycelyn is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She worked as a Legal Secretary for Marty Broussard Law Firm for 17 years. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and a resident of Terrytown, Louisiana. or Masses. Due to the COVID Pandemic, each attendee must wear a face mask for the duration of the Visitation and Mass. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Christ the King Catholic Church, 535 Deerfield Road, Terrytown, Louisiana on Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 10AM until 12PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church on Thursday at 12PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. MOTHE FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
