Joyce Pitre Horn

Joyce Pitre Horn passed away peacefully on April 19, 2022, at the age of 74. She was born in New Orleans on December 12, 1947, to the late Thomas Pitre Jr and Florence Pitre.
Joyce is survived by her children; Angel Horn Loyacano (Jacob Loyacano), Andria Horn Waddle, Jimmy Horn Jr (Wendy Vittur Horn); her grandchildren, Kyle Horn, Sarah Lester, Zoe Vittur, Dakota Lester, Brianna Horn, Jimmy Horn III, Jacob Loyacano III; her great grandchildren, Carter Lee Todd, Rose Renee Paramore; her sisters, Jane Ogea, Marilyn Farrell, Carolyn Andrews, Helen Johnson, and Hope Zeller. Joyce is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Joyce is preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Jimmy Horn; her parents, Thomas Pitre Jr and Florence Pitre; her brothers, Johnny Pitre, Thomas Pitre III, Dick Pitre, she is also preceded in death by three nephews and one niece.

Joyce was a wonderful person, and she always had a great story to tell. She was domestic engineer, and a hospitality expert. Joyce always made you feel welcome, and no one ever left her home hungry.
Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral visitation on Sunday, April 24, 2022, from 5pm to 7pm at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, La. The visitation will resume Monday, April 25, 2022, at 8am. A funeral Mass will take place at 10am followed by a graveside service at Restlawn Cemetery.
Joyce requested, for her celebration of life on Sunday evening, please come dressed in your favorite pajamas.
