Josephine Navarra Evola

Josephine Navarra Evola passed away peacefully on August 7, 2021 at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Michael Evola. Mother of Michael Evola (Sharon) and Barbara Comeaux (Mark). Grandmother of Michael Evola, Catherine Belala (David), Janelle Bernier (Justin) and Lindsey Comeaux. Great-grandmother of Cooper Belala, Kadyn Bernier, Amelia Bernier and Elliott Barganier. Sister of Joyce DiLeo, Angie Navarra, the late Dominick Navarra Jr., Phillip Navarra Sr., Roy Navarra, Sara Burrescia and Mary Navarra. Also survived by her sister-in-law, Barbara Navarra and brother-in-law, Vince DiLeo Sr., along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Josephine was born and raised in Independence, LA and resided in Algiers, LA for the rest of her life. She was a wonderful cook and loved spending time with her family.

Graveside services will be held at Westlawn Memorial Park, 1225 Whitney Avenue, Gretna, LA on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 for 11am.

Respectful of current guidelines, all attendees should wear their own mask/face covering and practice distancing.
