Josephine Fradella Donewar, age 91, entered into eternal rest on January 9, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Charles G. Donewar, Jr. Mother of Charles G. Donewar, III (Lynn), Frank G. Donewar (Dawn), Jody M. Donewar (Sandra), and Glenn J. Donewar (Sheri C.). Daughter of the late Frank Fradella and the late Virginia G. Fradella; Josephine was born on November 23, 1930 in McDonoghville, LA. Grandmother of Charles G. Donewar IV (Christine), Michael J. Donewar (Tiffany), Nicole R. Trentacosta (Perry), Amber T. Donewar, Brandon M. Donewar (Cortney), and Blake C. Donewar (Ashley). Great-grandmother of Brody M. Donewar. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Veronica D. Roberts along with her very close friends Mike Ellender, Teri Anderson, and Murphy Majorie. Josephine was very proud of her Italian heritage. She loved being a grocer. To Josephine, her boys were always the priority in her life. She loved her family and loved McDonoghville. She was one of the last “Grand Dames of McDonoghville”. Josephine will forever be known for her kind heart. She was always a giver.
