Joseph “JoJo” Xavier Marcainte, Jr. passed away on July 19, 2020. Beloved companion of Bambi Townsend. Father of Arielle Marcainte, Chaz Marcainte, Alexis Marcainte, and Jessica Lirette (Loney). Son of the late Joseph Marciante and Shirley LeBlanc Zalewski. Brother of Clyde Perez, Melissa Fernandez, Tammy Duplessis, Czar Marcainte, and Hollie Thompson. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Former spouse of Gail Marcainte. Age 54 years and lifelong resident of Marrero, LA. JoJo was proud to be a bayou boy working as an oyster fisherman. He was beloved by many in his community and will be deeply missed by all. Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Friday, July 31, 2020 from 11AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 1PM. Interment will be in Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale, LA.
