Mr. Joseph Thomas Manguno

Joseph Thomas Manguno, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather entered into eternal rest on Wednesday September 15, 2021 at the age of 82. He will be lovingly missed by his wife of 60 years, Joy D. Manguno; daughter, Maria M. CaulKing (Steve); late son Darren J. Manguno. He was lovingly called PaPa by his grandchildren, Regina C. Robinson (Guy), Mallory J. CaulKing (Cameron), and Alexander E. Manguno (Chris) and great grandfather to Blake Riley Robinson and Aubree Rose Ditta.
Joseph is preceded in death by his parents, Edna K. Manguno and Frederick A. Manguno, brother and sisters; Frederick Manguno (Rosemary), Arthur Manguno (Murial), Edna Brasset (Eddie), Claire Manguno, and Rita Miller (Mack).
His family was his life, and he loved to dance and drink his coffee. Joseph's wife Joy never wanted for anything and Joe was the one to make sure his adoring wife had anything and everything she needed. He never missed any functions his family was involved in. He was born in New Orleans and he was a life long resident of Gretna.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, La on Friday September 24, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will immediately follow at Westlawn Cemetery, Gretna, La.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting masses.
