Joseph "Puggy" A. Aucoin

Joseph “Puggy” A. Aucoin, 93, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, February 13, 2020. He was a USMC World War II veteran who was awarded the purple heart. Beloved husband of Geraldine “Gerry” Boudreaux of 60 years. Father of Charlotte Niven (Glen) and Charles “CJ” Aucoin. Son of the late Norine Guillot Aucoin Braun and Charles Aucoin. Brother of the late Etienne “Red,” John, Davis, Dibert, Alvin, Mabel, Lena, and Roland “Harry” Aucoin. Survived by two grandchildren, Natalie Jones (Cullen) and Michael Niven, and one great grandson, Nathaniel Jones. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at 1pm. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 10am until 1pm.
