Johnny A. McKee passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at the age of 79. Husband of Gudrun I. McKee for over 40 years. Father of Monique M. Johnson (Matthew). Son of the late Frances and Frank McKee. Brother of the late Mildred Lee McKee (Rice), Mary Frances McKee (Lawrence), Marilyn McKee (McDermott), Joe Frank McKee, Jimmy Ray McKee, George McKee, Margaret Ann McKee (McClain), Clark R. McKee, Bobby McKee and Billy C. McKee. Step grandfather of Morgan and Logan Johnson. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews and survived by his close friend, "Billy" William Shroyer and his close friend and companion, Frances Cavness. He retired from the U. S. Army after serving honorably for 25 years. He was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a native of Montrose, Arkansas and a lifelong resident of Harvey, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 3pm.
