John Michael Oleszkovicz

John M. Oleszkowicz entered into eternal rest on January 17, 2022. Beloved husband of Gail M. Oleszkowicz for eleven years. Father of Johnny Oleszkowicz (Joyce), Angel Weber (Robert), Chad Besson (Candace), Rick (Trish), Ronald (Sharon), Jeanette, Bill (Tracie), and Missy. Also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Age 80 years, a native of Detroit, MI and resident of Westwego, LA. John was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked as a welder for Avondale Shipyard until retirement. In his spare time he loved spending time with family, trips to the casino, and playing bingo. He will be deeply missed. Interment was private, Mothe Funeral Homes handled arrangements.
