John D. Bordelon, Sr.

John D. Bordelon Sr. passed away on October 22, 2018 at the age of 39 years. Beloved husband of Leslie Guidroz Bordelon. Father of Keilah, Wade and John Jr. Son of Cynthia Bordelon Durham (Charlie). Grandson of Alice Ernst Bordelon (the late Clanard Jr.). Brother of Tonia Bordelon-Lee (Bean), Michael Bordelon and the late Sherrie Sierra-Melendez. Nephew and best friend of Barry Bordelon. Brother-in-law of Dawnita Snell (Brian). Son-in-law of Mary “Jan” McKean Guidroz and the late Gordon Guidroz. Also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.

John was a truck driver and worked for several trucking and transportation companies. He enjoyed working on cars and could fix anything. He was a friend for life. John loved his family and spending time with family and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 10am to 1pm. Services will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment Restlawn Park Cemetery in Avondale.
