Joe Bates

Joe Bates of Harvey, LA passed away May 18th, 2022. He is survived by his wife Phyllis Bates and Daughter Angela Bates, and sisters Beulah Mason, Aileen Nunley and Emily Cole and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Father Maryland Bates and Mother Sarah Bates and sisters Lula Carter and Alpha Roland and brothers Allen Bates and Alvin “Rudy” Bates. He was a Retired Navy Diver, he proudly served for over 20 years in the Navy. He enjoyed working out with his weights. He would help anyone who need help. He was one of a kind. He will be greatly missed.
