Joaquin Piña

Joaquin Piña passed away on May 31, 2020. Beloved son of Maria Garcia Piña and Valente Piña. Brother of Idalia Piña and Edward Piña. Grandson of Joaquin Piña Castro and Virginia Morales Piña. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends. Age 34 years and a resident of New Orleans, LA. Joaquin graduated from Archbishop Shaw High School and attended LSU and Our Lady of Holy Cross College. He was known as a French Quarter Legend by friends and was an avid Saints and LSU Football Fan. His laugh could be heard a mile away and will be missed dearly.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 3 PM. Visitation will be held from 1 PM until 3 PM. Interment will be private. Guests should wear masks and keep condolences brief due to the current pandemic conditions.
