JoAnn Orgeron Rizzuto peacefully entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at the age of 71. Beloved wife of Clay Rizzuto, by second marriage and David Orgeron, by first marriage. Beloved daughter of the late Joseph LaPorte, Sr. and Roberta “Anna” Giovengo LaPorte. Loving mother of Kimberly Orgeron Alwell (Thomas, Jr.) and Bonnie Orgeron. Loving Grandmother of Kristi, Jessica, Kelsey, Jennifer and Justin, Sr. Adored Great Grandmother of Gracelyn, Kaden, Olivia, Ayden, Blayze, Justin, Jr. and Jesus. Sister of Mary Delaune, Deborah Mosley and the late Joseph LaPorte, Jr. and David LaPorte. JoAnn is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and resided in Marrero, Louisiana. JoAnn retired as a Purchasing Agent for Touro Infirmary Hospital in New Orleans. Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, Louisiana on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 from 11AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 1PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, Louisiana.
