Joann Orgeron Grundmeyer

JoAnn Orgeron Grundmeyer, age 57, passed away on February 2, 2022. Loving wife of Gary Grundmeyer for 27 years; and mother of Kayla Grundmeyer, Gavin Grundmeyer, and the late Jenna Grundmeyer. Grandmother of Brody Fremen, who was her eyes, and her fur baby Lucy Mae Grundmeyer. JoAnn was born on July 7, 1964 to the late Clarence “Bud” Orgeron Sr. and the late Audrey A. Orgeron. Sister of Sandra Orgeron, Clarence “CJ” Orgeron (Donna), and Mark Orgeron (Amanda). God Mother of Cody Orgeron and Brandon Cortez. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She truly loved her job at Southern Glazers Wine and Spirits for the past many years. We would also like to thank Kelly, Margaret, Peyton and Jamie with Hospice for taking such great care of our mother. She truly loved her family and friends, and loved to have a good time. Friends and family are invited to attend a funeral mass on Monday, February 7, 2022 at 1PM in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expy., in Harvey, LA. Visitation will begin at 11AM. Interment will follow immediately at Westlawn Memorial Park, 1225 Whitney Ave., in Gretna.
