Joan Vedros Tuminello

Joan Vedros Tuminello passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at the age of 84.
Beloved wife of the late Frank Joseph Tuminello. Mother of Margaret T. Delatte (Nolan), Mary T. Robichaux (the late Todd) and the late Michael Joseph Tuminello. Daughter of the late Marguerite and Whitney Vedros. Sister of Carolyn Brown, and the late Bernadette Poole. Grandmother of Kerri D. Matherne (Chris, II), Nolan F. Delatte (Brittany Samson), Brittany Robichaux and Ashley Robichaux. Great grandmother of Madison Matherne, Chris Matherne, III, and Nathan Matherne. Also survived by many in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, family and friends. She was a talented artist and a member of the Westbank Art Guild, St. Charles Art Guild, and the Gretna Historical Society. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA for the past 55 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 4401 7th Street, Marrero, LA on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 1pm. Visitation will be held at the church from 10am until 1pm. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
