Jimmie Lee Thornton passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at the age of 72. Beloved wife of the late Carey A. Thornton. Mother of Carey “Bubba” A. Thornton Jr and Lela Sercovich (Gary). Daughter of the late Elma “DeeDe” and James Phillips. Grandmother of Mila, Anica, Ivana and Garyn Sercovich. She was a native of Empire, LA and a resident of Belle Chasse, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Graveside Service for Jimmie Lee and her husband, Carey Thornton, where they will be laid to rest together, on Monday, October 12, 2020 at 11am at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
