Jessica Marie Scarabin entered into eternal rest on January 5, 2022. Beloved daughter of Doris “Dodie” Pete Scarabin and the late Randolph “Ruggy” A. Scarabin, Sr. Fiancé of Gerrid Labruzzo. Maternal granddaughter of the late Doris M. Pete and Scott C. Pete, Sr., the late Anna Mae Pete, and paternal granddaughter of the late Catherine Cordes Scarabin and Vincent R. Scarabin. Niece of Donna P. Clade (Jerry), Charlotte C. Pete, Deborah and Ray Swain, Margaret Scarabin Boudreaux (Wayne), Frank Dolinger, Betty Ann Harman, and the late Scott C. Pete, Jr., Theodore Scarabin (Janie), and Vincent Scarabin, Jr. (Sam).
Sister of Randolph A. Scarabin, Jr. (Denice). Also survived by her cousins Stephen C. Pete (Melissa), Jennifer P. Jernigan (late Randall Sr.), Tiffany C. Giordano (Cameron), Amy C. Wismer (Joshua), Randall Jernigan, Jr., Lauren Pete, Daniel Pete, Molly Jernigan, Harper Rose Wismer, Brandon Christoffer, Zack Feucht, and Brandon “Baby B” Christoffer, Jr. Aunt to Payton and Isabella. Jessica also will be deeply missed by numerous family and friends, especially her “Hot Girls”.
Age 39 years, raised in Venice and Slidell, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA since Hurricane Katrina. Graduated from Northshore High School and attended Northwestern University in Natchitoches, LA. Jessica loved her work of many years in the hospitality industry. But her most favored time was time spend with her mother, fiancée, family and friends.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Memorial Service at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA on Friday, January 14, 2022 at 1 PM. Memorial Visitation will be held from 11 AM until service time. Interment will be private.
