Jeanette Joan Roche' Weigel

Jeanette Joan Roche’ Weigel passed away peacefully on October 21, 2021, surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born in New Orleans on October 19, 1934, to Lester and Aline Roche’.
Jeanette worked for Jaegar Restaurant for nearly three decades. She was well loved by all who knew her. She spent her time d taking care of her family and working in the hospitality industry. Her hobbies included dancing, shopping, and hanging out with her kids and grandchildren. She loved the Elvis Movie “Girl Happy” and the “Young and the Restless”. She will be greatly missed by dear loved ones.
Jeanette Joan Roche’ Weigel is survived by her children Robert C Weigel, Donna Weigel, Cheryl L. Weigel, Kerry J Weigel, Steven J Weigel, and Tina M White (Gary); her grandchildren, Javony, Danny Sr (Jaychelle), Damien, Jonathan, Jason, Tabitha, Gabrielle, Briana, Farrah, Chastity; her great grandchildren, Tyler, Ashley, Jacob W., Javier, Danny Jr., Savanna, Shyah, Jayde, Zoe’, Jaycob L., Dante’, Destiny, Ebony, Ariana, Alliyah, Jeremiah, Abby. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lester Roche’ and Aline Manuel Roche’, her husband, Jacob C. Weigel, her granddaughter, Jessica M. Moran.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at 1pm at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey La 70058. The visitation will begin at 10am. Interment will immediately follow in Westlawn Cemetery, Gretna, La.
