Jean Winsley Ballay entered into eternal rest on May 24, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Ronald James Ballay, Sr. Mother of Ronald J. Ballay, II, Jason J. Ballay (Karen), Amanda Jean Ballay, and Brittany Ballay. Grandmother of Elizabetta, Rosalina, Anastasia, Sebastian, and Alexander Ballay. Daughter of the late Keith Winsley and Ramona Whelan Winsley. Sister of the late Linda and Keith Winsley, Jr. Age 67 years, a native of Algiers and resident of Gretna, LA. Jean was a social butterfly, always a best friend, mom or sister to everyone. She had a sweet disposition and was always willing to lend a helping hand. She was a faithful member of River Church of Harvey. Jean was a devoted and loving grandmother and enjoyed caring for her grandchildren. She loved road trips during vacation season, especially to Disney World. She was strong willed and fought cancer bravely until the end. Jean will be deeply missed by all.
