Jasmine Cherie Wilson, daughter of James Wilson Jr. and Lynell Stewart Wilson was born on June 16, 1991 in Gretna, LA. Jasmine, “Jazz” as we called her, was granted her angel wings on Thursday, November 26, 2020. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Mount Calvary International Worship Center under the leadership of Pastor Terry Gullage Sr. Jasmine graduated from Crescent City Christian High School in 2009. Soon after, she attended Delgado Community College and received her degree in Cosmetology. Long before having her degree she had a host of customers as she would often cut her classmates’ hair during PE and lunch while still in high school. She found joy in being a Barber. Jasmine was a loving spirit, filled with life. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Jazz was brave, hardworking, empathetic, and she had a huge personality. Jasmine never met a stranger. She made it her mission to get to know everyone she came in contact with. With her quest to ask every imaginable question that came to mind, she was sure to know all of your business including your secrets. She had the biggest heart, the warmest smile, and the most infectious personality ever. Jasmine touched the lives of so many people, in ways most people will never do in a lifetime. She was well-loved and will be deeply missed by everyone who was blessed to have a conversation with her. Jasmine is preceded in death by her grandfather Clarence Stewart and her dog Tokey.
