Janice Breaux Aucoin

Janice Breaux Aucoin peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior surrounded by her family on Friday, May 13, 2022, at the age of 70, due to complications after surgery for pancreatic cancer.
Beloved wife of 46 years to George H. Aucoin. Beloved Mother of Amanda Danos (Milton). Grandmother to Abigail Danos. Step-Grandmother to Victoria Danos and Julia Danos. Sister-in-law of Phylliss Mandeville. Aunt of Edouard Mandeville and Joshua Mandeville.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mae C. Breaux, her father, Phillip Breaux; and her in-laws, Mabel K. Aucoin and George F. Aucoin. She leaves behind her husband, her daughter, son-in-law, grandchildren, cousins, and friends that were like family.
Mrs. Aucoin was a native of Westwego, and resident of Marrero. She was a graduate of L.W. Higgins High School. She worked for Paychex, Inc for the last 30 years. She was a member of Hosanna Church. The family would like to thank the caring nurses and staff of Bridgepoint Continuing Care Hospital.
2 Timothy 4:7-8: I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Hosanna Church, 2215 Barataria Blvd., Marrero, on Tuesday, May 17th starting at 3pm, followed by a Memorial Service at 7pm.
