James "Jimmy" West Sutton

James "Jimmy" West Sutton passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Betty Rodriguez Sutton. Father of Blane Sutton (Janice). Grandfather of Rachel and Whitney Sutton. Son of the late James David Sutton and Thelma Dudley Sutton. Brother of the late Helen Dean S. Smith, James Dudley Sutton, and JoAnn S. Guarisco. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Age 91 years, a native of Southport, NC, a resident of Patterson, LA and Empire, LA until moving after Hurricane Katrina to Long Beach, MS. He was owner of ROdriguez and Sutton Boat Rentals and was an active member of York and Scottish Rite, past Captain of Jerusalem Temple Scooter Unit, past Master of Triumph Lodge #422, and member of Belle Chasse Lodge #469 F & AM.

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA on Monday, August 20, 2018 at 1:30 PM. Interment Lakelawn Cemetery, New Orleans, LA. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until funeral time.
