James "Jim" Ray Savoie

James “Jim” Ray Savoie entered into entered into eternal rest on July 14, 2021. Beloved husband of Charlene Boone Savoie. Father of Christian Savoie (Vickie) and stepfather of Paul Woodhall, Jr. and Julie W. Walter (Kim Buck). Grandfather of Paul Walter, Jessica Savoie, Mickey Walter IV (Michelle), Zoe Woodhall, Gabriel Knowles and Billie-Layne Knowles. Son of the late Luke Savoie, Sr. and Dalice Ronquille Savoie. Brother of Lenore S. Shepherd, and the late Eddie J. Savoie, Shirley S. Hartman, Norma S. Rooney, Della S. Rogers, Joseph Savoie, Luke Savoie, Wilfred Savoie, Lukelyn Savoie, and Peter Savoie. Age 80 years, a native of Lafitte, and a resident of Marrero, LA. Jim worked for Chevron for over 33 years until retirement. He was a member of the NRA and was an avid motorcycle enthusiast.

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Parlor of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA on Monday, July 19, 2021 at 1:30 PM.
