James Frederick Mcgowan

James Frederick McGowan passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2017. Beloved husband of Violet Mitchell McGowan for 66 years. Father of Lynn M. Rougeau (John), Wendy M. Allen (Charles III), and the late Patrick McGowan. Grandfather of Sean McGowan, Brian McGowan, Heather Allen, and Charles Allen IV. Son of the late Hugh McGowan and Cecelia Carroll McGowan. Brother of the late Hugh McGowan, Jr. and Edith M. Tucker. Age 95 years, a native of Detroit, MI, and resident of New Orleans, LA.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Memorial Service in the Parlor of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 1300 Vallette St., Algiers, LA on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 1 PM. Memorial Visitation will be held from 12 Noon until service time. A private interment will be held at a later date.
